Within 28th-30st of January, the Talk2Me partnership along with various professionals from all partner countries met in Cerignola, Italy for an insightful learning experience.
During the 3 full-days of training, the participants were introduced to the Talk2Me Guide for promoting diversity and managing cases of mobbing, engaged in practical activities dedicated to managing cases of mobbing and learned the essential steps to create a successful awareness campaign. Moreover, the attendees got the chance to go on the field and interact with a local social cooperative, named @altereco, which is an inspiring model for job integration of seasonal migrants workers in Italy. The project partners participated in the first training activity of the Talk2me project in Bucharest with professionals from Germany, Italy, Cyprus, Turkey, Romania and Portugal.
In the 5 days of training, they focused attention on the forms of mobbing towards migrants in the workplace, discussing the different methodologies and approaches to be aware of this phenomenon, that is, know how to recognize it and give migrants the tools to report it and to no longer be victims of it. The participants also met with interest Ateliere Fara Frontiere (https://atelierefarafrontiere.ro/) and the operators of IOM Romania (https://romania.iom.int/ro), who talked about their activity with migrants arriving in Romania, particularly those fleeing from the war in Ukraine: what they need and how they are welcomed. There were also numerous interactive and knowledge activities to fully explore the training topics. Finally, they worked in groups on various communication campaign proposals aimed at migrants and beyond in order to recognize themselves as actors/victims of forms of mobbing; raise awareness of the phenomenon; transfer awareness and tools to manage mobbing and stimulate and promote change. The Talk2Me partners gathered in Bucharest, Romania on the 9th and 10th of May for the third transnational meeting of the project.
The discussions were productive and led to setting out the next steps to be taken for moving forward with the project results: The Healthy Work Environment Assessment, to be fine-tuned based on the feedback collected in the validation workshops. Dynamic learning programme for companies' management and HR to address mobbing at work and foster workplace inclusion, course modules are being designed for the piloting phase. We are also glad to inform you that work has started on the creation of a Guide for promoting diversity. Furthermore, an awareness toolkit is currently under development with graphics and videos. The second Talk2Me partners’ TPM took place on June 27, bringing together representatives from all consortium institutions to assess the project’s progress and chart its future course.
During the meeting, partners conducted a review of deliverables and ongoing work packages, evaluated the effectiveness of available resources, and identified any emerging challenges. They also exchanged insights on dissemination activities, ensuring alignment with the project’s overall objectives. By the end of the session, partners had agreed on a clear set of actionable next steps and established a timeline for their implementation, reinforcing their shared commitment to achieving impactful results. On the 26th and 27th of January 2023 #Wasla Arabisch Deutsches Center für Dialog e.V. hosted the Kick-off Meeting for our project.
Partners from all six countries (Germany, Turkey, Portugal, Italy, Romania , and Cyprus) joined forces to make this project happen. The meeting started with welcoming and introduction from all participating countries which was followed by discussions on the values, goals, activities, deliverables, and timeline of the TALK2ME project. Stay tuned to find out more about this project as it progresses. |
